Welcome to Reddit's Project M community! Project M is the premier Brawl modification inspired by Super Smash Bros. Melee's gameplay—designed to add rich, technical gameplay to a balanced cast of characters whilst further enhancing the speed of play.
Similar to Classic mode are All Star Mode and Boss Battles, where the player has only one to defeat all of the playable characters and bosses, respectively. Brawl features Events, matches with predetermined battle conditions such as defeating opponents within a time limit or reaching a specific goal. New to, each of the 41 Events has three difficulty levels, with a distinct high score recorded for each. In addition to the normal set of 41 Events played with a single player, a smaller set of 21 two-player Events is included.
The 64 bit version does not have these limitation. If you get an unhandled exception upon loading a save in the power editing menu, then something went wrong with the save. This is why it is very important to keep a backup of your save. Another option (don't know if it will work but should) is to delete the character in the offending slot and create a new one in its place, and retry. Sadly repeat loading of the save file is needed.

At long last, the previously announced Piranha Plant DLC character has finally gone live in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but it’s not all sunshine and roses. According to multiple reports, it seems that the character that was promised before the game even launched is corrupting save files, which is not good to say the least. As of the time of this writing, there’s no clue how widespread this problem is (hell, there’s even very little confirmation that this is happening), however, it seems like the major bug is contained to the game’s All-Star, so if you avoid that, there’s a chance your saves will be fine. Ironically enough, with the launch of the Piranha Plant earlier today, a new patch for the game went live as well, fixing a number of issues.
