Oticon told me the replacement policy is whatever the service provider wants to do! I dont like being lied to! Also I have had nothing but problems with one. Look elsewhere to spend your hard earned money on a company with better products and customer support. Without hearing aids, I can't communicate well in noisy environments, and even in relatively quiet ones, often have to ask folks to repeat themselves. Original review: Dec. 23, 2018 I have been wearing hearing aids for over 25 years. Before my current pair of Oticon, I used the premium aids from Widex. In my experience, if you keep them clean, handle them with care, have an audiologist who cares and explains how to use them correctly, you will be very happy with them. I can actually hear well now!

I've never had a problem with them. The yearly maintenance is a bit pricey, but that was my choice by not purchasing the 'bundled' maintenance. I change the domes and the wax guards on the first of each month -- never had any difficulty with them. I've had these instruments for almost 2 years and wear them daily. So I followed the instructions for clearing old pairings (hold down the on/off button and the up-volume button together for 3 seconds), then did a new pairing with the iPhone, and that seems to have done the trick. I've now had five phone calls without a single incident of switching from phone to Streamer. I'm cautiously optimistic that my troubles may be over. Some patients require very basic controls, but other patients, such as myself, have a great deal of knowledge of equalization and other electronic settings. It is very frustrating and very well may be a dealbreaker as to whether I go with Oticon or another brand of hearing aids.
